Scholarship Workshop December 4, 2017

We will be holding a scholarship workshop on Monday December 4, 2017 at 7 PM at the Extension Office (weather permitting). If you are a current high school senior and would like more information on scholarships available to apply for, please plan to attend. Currently, The Indiana 4-H Foundation Scholarship  is available to all 4-H members who are presently in High School. It is a one-time, non-renewable award of $500.00 that can be used at any post high school study or training (i.e. college, trade school, or short course) which does not have to be in Indiana. Current 4-H members who are seniors should have received a letter and application for the above scholarship in the mail. If you did not, or need another copy, please e-mail Angie Smith smith539@purdue.edu to get a copy. Junior Extension Board Position Opening

In 2006 the Marshall County Extension Board added youth member positions. The 2 year terms for these members are staggered, requiring that one youth position be filled annually. The Marshall County Extension Board is now searching for a new youth member! Qualifications for Youth Board Members: Live in Marshall County Must be at least 16 years of age (to drive to meetings) Be interested in the future of Marshall County and its residents Be willing to gain a working knowledge of various programs offered through Purdue Cooperative Extension Service and through the Marshall County Extension Office and share ideas regarding critical issues facing those living in the county.
