Apply to be a Pollinator Habitat Teen Ambassador

We would like to invite you to represent Indiana as a Pollinator Habitat (PH) Teen Ambassador. Please apply for this leadership opportunity before May 17, 2019. Purpose : The purpose of PH Teen Ambassadors is to promote and educate the importance of pollinator species and the development of pollinator habitats to communities throughout the State of Indiana. Requirements :  Participate in a day-long workshop to receive training by experts in the field Attend and assist at a Pollinator Habitat Planting Event Lead activities to reach at least 50 youth (grades 3-7) at identified events Lead an activity at a minimum of 2 events within the program's time frame  Time Frame:  May 2019 through December 2019. Incentives :  Gain essential skills in communication, leadership, organization, planning, and working in a diverse team   Learn more about conservation as it relates to the importance of pollinators and their habitats  Receive a Purdue

Employment Opportunity for College Students

The Indiana State 4-H Office is seeking 2 college students to work during the summer months. They typically hire 2 students to help with summer events and programs. This would be a 40 hour per week position beginning when students have completed their spring semester finals and concludes at State Fair. Students must be 18 years of age, be in close proximity to campus, and have their own transportation.
