Scavenger Hunt

In order to help familiarize you with our website we have created a scavenger hunt. There are 5 questions and you can find all of the answers on our website. You can print off the document below or simply write down the answers to the questions and bring them into our office during normal business hours. If all 5 questions are correct we will have a 4-H prize waiting for you! You can also find information about the Scavenger Hunt directly on our website by following this link.

Officer Training Night- October 11, 2017

Junior Leaders will be hosting an officer training night! Purdue Collegiate 4-H will be putting on the training. You will be able to learn how to run a meeting and what it means to be an officer. 4-H Color Run October 21, 2017

Community Service Opportunity

On Thursday evening, August 31, 2017 at the Marshall County Extension Office we will meet to prepare boxes to deliver to participating elementary schools for the Ag day event. If you are available, please plan to come and help! We will begin at 6:30 PM. Please remember to arrive 5-15 minutes prior to start time, as the doors to the county building will be locked promptly at 6:30 to ensure the safety and security of the building. Thank you!

“4-H Shark Tank”: 2017 Indiana Youth and Adult Congress

The Indiana 4-H Youth and Adult Congress will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at the Farm Bureau Building on the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis. This year’s theme is “4-H Shark Tank”, incorporating entrepreneurship concepts into 4-H Congress to help youth and adults explore methods to more systematically/intentionally spread the 4-H message. The 3 leadership sessions to be offered include: 4-H Elevator Speech: How do you share your 4-H story in a short, succinct manner with those who are not familiar with the program? Social Entrepreneurship: The attempt to draw upon business techniques and private sector approaches to find solutions to social, cultural and environmental problems. Define possible solutions that local teams can address and create movements to make a change in the communities. Boiler Bridge- Connecting Campus to Community

The Boiler Bridge events connect Purdue  campus to the community. You will be able meet with Purdue academic counselors, discuss different degrees and educational opportunities Purdue offers, as well as ask general questions about the college experience. There are several different times, dates and locations available. We hope that many of our  4-her’s that are preparing for college will take this opportunity to explore what Purdue has to offer for their educational goals and future!
