Teens as Teachers Conference

This event is open to teams of 3-5 teens (in grades 9-12) and 1 adult. The cost is $100 per team and will be held April 13-15, 2018 in Bradford Woods in Martinsville, IN.  This year there are 4 Tracks being highlighted: Biotechnology, Automated Animal Biosecurity, Healthy Living, and Teen Leadership. Science Volunteer Training

This is a great chance for new and current volunteers to learn more about STEM and SPARK clubs and how we can bring more of these opportunities to the youth in our county! Welding Project Requests

Hello 4-H Families, Our welding project is in need of some materials to get started. If you or someone you know have some items they would be willing to donate it would be greatly appreciated! Any donations can be brought to the Extension Office. The following items are needed: Mig Welders Arc Welders Plasma Cutter Touch Sets Jackets Gloves Helmet (auto if possible) Chip Hammers Wire Brushes 4 Inch Grinders Steel to Weld (pre cut coupons 2x7x3/16) 10 per kid per class If you or someone you know would be available to help with teaching safety please let us know. If someone you know is available but they are not a screened volunteer, we would be happy to help them with that process.
